Hermitage Learning Center's One-On-One approach takes the student, assesses their needs, reviews the content of struggle, and teaches to just that. What is the point of using a specific tutoring curriculum when the need at hand is the specific curriculum that is being studied in their classroom? We also take into consideration any building blocks in the specific curriculum that may have been neglected, such as times tables, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and so on, and make sure mastery is achieved in those building blocks so that your student is sure to have a strong foundation in their specific area of struggle moving forward!
We relate to the struggle of learning and having questions in a class full of 20+ students, or even the distraction of learning virtually from home. Each student at Hermitage Learning Center spends their tutoring time in a safe, private space with the same tutor each session to ensure zero distractions and compounding results with each session.
Not only do we hand-pick the perfect tutor to meet your struggle, we also make sure you are kept with that tutor to track and monitor success! We are all about intentionality and tracking results. If a tutor is focused on an entire group, the needs of the individual may be bypassed. At Hermitage Learning Center, each session is individualized with the same tutor so they can monitor, track, and learn the patterns of each student to ensure growth.
